Thanks to Marco Shaw for the LiveMeeting event on Windows PowerShell
A big thank you to Marco for taking the time to put his intro to PowerShell via Microsoft LiveMeeting this week. He certainly knows his stuff and provided some great tips and a few things to watch out for. Marco is willing to put on another session if there is enough of a demand for specific or even general use of PowerShell. Also, if you think that LiveMeeting is a good way to hold the UG meetings with remote speakers drop a note via the form on the Contact Us page.

Save 50 percent on the price of DevTeach / SQLTeach Vancouver (June 8-12,2009)!
DevTeach is going westward to Vancouver next year. And for you really early-birds who want to book a spot right now you can use the rebate code DEVT50OFFVAN to save 50 percent off the registration price. The only catch is that there are only 30 registrations open with this code and they have to be completed by February 10th, 2009! So if you want to go, tell your boss you have a great discount for one of the great Developer conferences in Canada and book early.

.NET developers to follow on Twitter
Anyone who happens to be using Twitter should check out these two blog postings by Elijah Manor where he lists 40 .NET developers that you should follow. I'd include Elijah on that list as well and make sure you check out the rest of his blog as it's full of plenty of good information for Developers.
